We continue our month long recognition of Black History with a wide range of books. Featured are amazing story tellers like Jerry Craft, Jacqueline Woodson and Kwame Alexander. You can also browse our collection of beautifully illustrated picture books depicting important moments and courageous people. You'll find books and video clips from some of today's favorite authors and other professionals reflecting on their experiences.
Upstairs, you can view the Civil Rights Era Timeline. Walk along the stairwell railing to read about specific events that shaped the Civil Rights Movement and view corresponding books and videos. We welcome all to come and visit the displays both upstairs and downstairs (note there are classes in the HB library daily from 1:20-2:48).

To recognize and celebrate Black History Month, Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. West have put together displays in the library (both floors!) featuring books and QR codes linking to related videos. Upstairs is a timeline of books and video clips from the Civil Rights Era. Walk along the stairwell railing to read about specific events that shaped the Civil Rights Movement and view corresponding books and videos.
