Sharing Books with the High School
Because of our unique setup with the Lewis Mills Learning Center located upstairs, we are able to share books between the two schools. Each school has their own fiction and non-fiction collection located on their respective floors. In our online catalog Destiny, books labeled Sublocation:Upstairs belong to the high school. If a Har-Bur student would like to read fiction books from the high school, please download and fill out the permission slip below and return to Mrs. Johnston. Students may also pick up a copy in the library. This will put a quiet alert on their account that will let us know they have permission on file. The Har-Bur Learning Center also has a small number of books labeled YA (young adult) that 5th and 6th graders will need a signed permission slip for.
